Microneurography uniquely allows direct stimulation of the first order neuron to elicit a percept in your participants, unlocking the full potential of the technique. Intraneural Microstimulation (INMS) is both frustratingly challenging, and exceptionally rewarding- this presentation will briefly cover the history, the technical details, and recent applications of the technique.
